Inquiry into Awakening

Inquiry into Awakening meetings are unscripted and spontaneous - they are a unique adventure of exploring what it means to be present, aware, free from the insistence of one's personal story. As a natural extension of stillness practice our dialogues are aimed at exploring the obvious and subtle myths we hold about the nature of awareness, our expectations for higher consciousness, and the means at our disposal for deep looking and the cultivation of insight.

During the inquiry any form of relaxation and meditation is welcome, We practice deep (and undefended) seeing to evoke a direct experience of the subtle energy body and natural receptivity. Please join us for some thoughtful explorations into the nature of psychological time, the genesis of the separate self, this effortless totality, and skillful means to see through our typical modes of perception.

Meetings are held in the Yellow Barn at Pebble Hill Interfaith Church. The Inquiries are for the adventurous few that for some strange reason (and no one can fathom why) want to wake up. Meetings are held on Tuesday & Thursday evenings (7:30 - 9:30 pm) + occassional Friday evening meetings (java + Inquiry) in Doylestown + Sunday morning breakfasts in Doylestown (10:30 am) held after the Pebble Hill Peace meditation at 9 am. An Inquiry Invitation is sent each week to confirm the schedule.
